Established in 2007 and headquartered in Drachten in the Netherlands, WhisperPower’s ongoing mission is to deliver grid-independent power systems to contribute to a cleaner and brighter future. WhisperPower rolled out the first edition of low-emission, hybrid generators in 2010, whose quiet-running and fuel-efficiency made an immediate impact on their marine, mobile and off-grid customers.

  • Octopower Marine

    OctoPower is an integrated single branded power solution for recreational or commercial marine applications. We have the ultimate plug-and-play solution at hand, from 3 - 48 kVA. The heart of the OctoPower system is a battery bank that feeds a WhisperPower inverter during silent time. This (lithium) battery pack is rechargeable from different sources, including a dock connection, solar/ wind generators, one or more boat DC alternator and a DC or AC WhisperPower generator.

  • WhisperCare 2.0

    With its new in-house developed WhisperCare 2.0, WhisperPower has taken the next step towards secure, robust, easily accessible and cost-effective remote monitoring. Security and compliance are important to WhisperPower, the highest standards have been incorporated in the design. The OctoControl modules collects real-time information from your WhisperPower system, processes it and displays it on your WhisperPower Touch monitor, a third party MFD or in the WhisperCare cloud interface.

  • Diesel Generators

    The Piccolo generator range of compact generators combines the latest diesel engine technology with a new way of producing electrical power. Instead of adding an alternator with fixed speed on the back of the fly-wheel, we have designed a very compact permanent magnet alternator (PMA), located just behind the engine. As a result, these systems are much smaller and lighter compared to traditional generators. The generator RPM can be fixed to a position offering the optimal balance between RPM, output power, audible noise and vibration.

Try before you buy

A number of our hire fleet operating from Marlow, Oakley Court and Runnymede use the Navy Evo outboard. Why not try one on the water for yourself?

With the increasing range of electric propulsion systems being promoted we are finding many performance claims are somewhat over-stated. The Electric Boat Company only offer products we have first hand experience with and in many cases use the exact systems within our own hire fleets, running thousands of hours per year.
